Where can i buy a kungfu staff in australia?

is it illegal? if not any ideas where i can get one?

broom handles suck in contact with water.|||I heard bums in australia own staffs. Just tell him youd like to pay him to play with his staff.|||Yeah, broom handles and dowels are not very good.

Can you have one custom made? Anybody into woodworking and with a lathe should be able to make you one. Ask them to make you a walking stick for your martial arts costume. ;-)

Get a piece of wood with a straight grain. An inside cut piece works real good. Pretty patterns look nice but they also are weak spots in the wood.

You could try and order a staff over the internet and see if they will ship you one. Contact the company first before you order and pay for the item to make sure they ship to your country.

If you are into Kung Fu the real wax wood sticks are very nice. Don't be fooled. These are NOT the real Kung Fu wax wood staffs and break very easily.

I haven't bought a staff in a long time (I buy good ones and they don't break) but I can't seem to find an example of a real wax wood staff. It looks like they don't sell them here anymore. They basically look like a stripped (bark) tree branch with one end thicker than the other.

As for the legality of owning one you are on your own. You may own a walking stick I am sure but a weapon is a different matter.|||at a martial arts shop in Australia
